What stays in your browser

To save you from losing work, ThreadCreator stores these in your browser’s local storage on this device only: the thread you’re writing, drafts you save, the display name and handle you type into the preview, and the text in the character counter. We never receive this data. It stays until you clear it.

When text leaves your device

Only when you press an AI button (draft a thread, AI review, generate hooks, posts or bios). Then the text you typed for that request is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel’s AI Gateway to produce the answer. We don’t store it or use it to build profiles. The auto-split, character counts, engagement score, formatter and templates all run entirely in your browser.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and doesn’t collect personal data or anything you type.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations. A short-lived, in-memory count of requests per IP address is used to rate-limit the AI features and is discarded within minutes.

ThreadCreator is an independent tool. It doesn’t connect to your X account and never posts on your behalf.
